THE AIM OF THIS COURSE is to develop an inspirited awareness of the natural world, so we can take our rightful place in it. We explore a mytho-poetic viewpoint, where ourselves and our locality are intimately entwined in an ongoing story to add excitement, joy and creativity to our lives.

THE COURSE CONTENTS: Through four lessons, with a bonus ‘ongoing’ page to lead you into the future, we will evolve relationships and mutual stories with nature to become more integrated, supported and fulfilled with life. We may gain balance and perspective.

The four lessons become available at weekly intervals, but this is not a timetable! Most students so far have reported using more time than that on each lesson, to enjoy it to the full. This course is all about making the journey as rich and varied an experience as possible.

Each lesson is divided into mini-sessions for ease of use, even with a busy lifestyle, supporting your learning through -

  • Writing, drawing and meditation exercises
  • Visuals, audio and video
  • Exploring your own locality
  • Contributions from other students and tutor

A journal is an essential of the course: this will become your completely private resource of experiences; a repository of memory.

In this course you will -

  • Work at your own pace and in your own way. The four lessons, released at weekly intervals, contain meditative and practicaL exercises for developing an expanded world view
  • Work with one clear focus in each lesson, to make a satisfying whole
  • Fit each of the mini-sessions into your busy lifestyle as you grow in awareness and skill
  • Use templates, worksheets, audios, videos and suggestions for creative expression to keep you on track
  • Have access to a forum to discuss coursework and exchange ideas with other participants
  • Be invited to join a private facebook group to continue discussions, ideas and explorations

"I found Penny's course to be rich, stimulating and fun to do. Profound ideas were introduced gently in a clear and straightforward way, then numerous varied exercises helped me to personalise these and embed them into my own practice, fitting them to my locale as well as my previous experience. Penny's approach enables a fulfilling and enriching outlook that can bring us closer to a sense of the divine in nature, even in our everyday modern (urban, scientific, consumerist) lives."  Joe: Bristol, UK

FAQ

Is the course just for Druids?

Not at all! The course flows from the understanding that nature is inspirited. If you accept this, and feel that the natural world is the most accessible way to explore your spiritual path, you are in tune with the ideas of the course. Nothing else is needed.

What’s this about a magical approach – do I have to believe in magic?

No, though an open, intrigued attitude will stand you in good stead. In the course, ‘magic’ refers not to physically-inexplicable ‘supernatural’ events such as you see on films, but to a particular way of appreciating the spirit imbuing all nature. You may come to regard that as ‘supernature’!

What experience do I need?

The course is for both novices and the more experienced.

What feelings might prompt people to sign up?

If you love life and long to experience it in abundance; if you feel stuck and need a fresh impetus; if you want to develop your own Druidic bag of simple, effective techniques to revitalise your experience of the natural world - this course could suit you.

How long does the course take to complete?

The course is in four lessons and one bonus, one being released each week over four weeks, but you can take as long as you need. Life happens, and you will choose how to fit the lessons into your lifestyle. This is one place not to feel pressured by time!

How long do I have access to the course?

The course will remain available to you once you have enrolled, unless and until the course is updated in the far distant future, when you can make contact for renewed access.

What if the course doesn’t suit me?

If the course doesn’t suit your needs, let us know as early as you can; if within the first ten days, you can claim a full refund.

How can I participate?

In every lesson you are encouraged to comment, and to share your experiences. There is also a facebook page exclusively for students to share experiences, and with occasional updates and additional materials.
